Cute find. Would probably be better without the fake audio, though.

It is not a catching a ride. The crab is living in it's normal environment. It is a parasite on the Jelly. When it get hungry it just takes a bite. One of the labs where I work has a jelly tank (small jelly's 1/4 inch to 2 inches) and there are always little pale crabs chewing on them.

nogard- I wish I could find the original video or at least the larger piece it was taken from.

eriko- Jellys give me the willies in general. The thought that they are being eaten alive by lazy ass crabs doesn't help.

d.w.- Crab sez: I'm xtreme!

dbtp- This is why I don't eat jellyfish.

The video is a good analogy - the Federal Reserve is the crab, and the jellyfish represents WE THE PEOPLE.

I'm quite sure some crab somewhere is busily posting on his blog about how terrible our times are when callow crab youth get killed dabbling in this new jellyfish surfing craze.
